A couple weeks ago my friends at Soma sent me a sample of their newest design, the Soma Pitcher. Their carafe became a staple entertaining piece last year and I’ve used it daily for both meetings and dinner parties. The new Soma Pitcher was designed with families in mind, so I thought it would be nice to share my review with pictures inspired by Sunday mornings at my family’s house.

Details about the Soma Pitcher:

+ It’s sustainable by design. The Soma filter features a coconut shell carbon and a plant-based casing.

+ It’s beautiful and functional. The handle is made from sustainable white oak, which makes it easy on the eyes and comfortable to hold.

+ It’s perfect for thirsty families. It holds 10 cups and can filter up to 40 gallons. This means you can fill it every day for two months.

+ It gives back. Every time you buy a Soma filter, they donate to charity. These contributions go directly to sustainable, community-owned water projects in developing countries.

My favorite feature (by far) is how seamlessly it fits in with our decor and serving pieces. I’ve also found that it improves the taste and odor of our water.

The Soma Pitcher is available for purchase at Target for $39.00. It’s a much better looking alternative to your clunky Brita, and who knows? Maybe Soma will become as much a staple at home as morning pancakes for that matter.
