On Cloud Nine with the Nike Epic React

Fashion & Style

As anyone who has visited Studio 125 can attest to, sneakers have become somewhat of an everyday staple around the office. No offense to my team, but this isn’t because any of us are fitness fanatics. Instead, I think the trend stems from a growing acceptance of sporting sneakers with everyday clothes. I’ve found that the key to mastering a look that feels both sporty and sophisticated actually lies in the sneaker rather than the get-up. The shoe needs to be unassuming, feminine and sleek, allowing you to work with a multitude of outfit options.

Versatility is a large part of the reason I immediately fell in love with the Nike’s Epic React sneaker. Their low profile makes them suitable for every occasion from the gym to the office.

Not only are the Nike Epic React’s aesthetically drool-worthy, they are soft, lightweight, and durable. So, it was no surprise to learn the amount of work that went into designing the shoe. Nike’s team of chemists spent three years experimenting with different materials and design methods until they landed the Epic React. And yes, shoe chemists are a thing.

The Nike Epic React have the cushion of a cloud and the bounce of a trampoline, two qualities that are typically mutually exclusive in the shoe design world. Plus they are lightweight yet still durable enough to last miles upon miles of running (or walking… that works too).

Safe to say, the Nike Epic React has the entire Wit & Delight team on cloud nine. To snag a pair of your own in one of the newly released colors (launched today!), shop here.

My building has primarily concrete and marble floors (museum) and I can’t wear dress shoes. I got a pair of Nike SF Airforce and they are insanely comfortable and so cute.
