this may seem a little strange, but i’ve found that bathrooms are one of my favorite places to find design inspiration. what isn’t to love about this light and airy space from marie claire italy? i saw this image a while back on desire to inspire, (they put together a great round-up of antique tubs… swoon). not only is the color great in this space, i’m completely sold on the idea of having a bathtub that stands in the center of a room. so, i decided to pull together a bathroom look inspired by this space. it’s a little moody, romantic, and definitely a place that calls for a long bath with a cocktail in hand. now if i could just find a home with those herringbone floors…
