Friends, it was slow going this Monday. The weekend was a mix of work and play, gorgeous weather, birthdays to celebrate, and benefits to attend. It may have taken multiple cups of coffee to feel like a functioning human being, but it was well worth it. Considering the amount of time spent behind the computer lately, it’s amazing I still have somewhat acceptable social graces.
A few highlights:
- Friday lunch with photographer Collin Hughes. I’ve followed his work for a while and it was nice to finally connect in person. He snapped my photo for Any Meal, too.
- The Pink Carpet event at CRAVE on Friday night was a blast. The TC Style bloggers were out out in full force, rocking sock buns and bright pink lipstick. You can see the outfits I styled for the event here. I essentially wore the first outfit featured.
- Saturday was the most gloriously perfect day in MPLS, so I opted for a few hours outside with a book instead of tackling my email. Forgive me, please! Later that evening we celebrated the birth of my dear friend, Ally with sushi and a night out dancing.
- Sunday, I discovered one of the greatest breakfast dishes ever invented: Poutine with Fried Egg, served at Muddy Waters. Big win for me and my stomach.
Last week was one of the rougher one’s I’ve had in a while and I’m hoping this is a little more peaceful. Let’s make it a good one!
