We’ve all made purchases based on a recommendation from someone we trust and/or admire. Luvocracy is a new social shopping site based on that idea. In short, it’s a one-stop site that allows you to curate collections, shop collections of those you trust, and earn credit towards future purchases.
Luvocracy acts similarly to Amazon. They host the platform that allows you to purchase each recommendation without leaving their website. Luvocracy then purchases the product from the site the recommendation was made from, at no extra cost to you or the vendor. They then deliver the product directly to you. It’s a really enjoyable shopping experience that benefits both the retailer and the person making the recommendation. I also believe it could be powerful platform for those who spend the time to find and share the things they love.
After using the site for a few months, I’ve decided it feels similar to curating your own little online shop. I also enjoy the social aspect of the site. I’ve found great products through my favorite users, and often add those products to my own collections. I’m interested to see where this site goes and I think the idea is really interesting. It’s totally new way to connect brands, shops, and influencers.
A few of my favorite collections include this black round up, and the collection ofshoes I created a savings account for. I’ve also found it helpful to have one place to share the favorite beauty products I can’t live without . I even created a collection with decor for my apartment.
If you’re interested in recommendation-based shopping, feel free to use my invite here to explore a little more. Spread the word if you think it’s something you’d use!
If you’re already using Luvocracy, here’s a list of my favorite influencers.
