Best Kept Secret….
Readers, say hello to Hackwith Design House. This small, Minneapolis-based studio is somewhat of an obsession of mine, and if I’m being honest, this post feels like sharing one of my best-kept secrets with you all. In short, I think you’re going to like what Lisa Hackwith, the woman behind the clothing, is all about.
Hand-selected fabric, custom patterns, texture, texture, texture! This is what Lisa Hackwith is all about. She’s been designing clothes for years, and demand for her high quality, hand-made, unique pieces has rapidly grown. The aesthetic of Hackwith Design House is Lisa’s own, from the soft earthiness of her fabric choices to the care-free way she styles her clothes, she has impeccable taste. Lucky for you and me, Hackwith Design House launched their website only a few hours ago! To celebrate the launch, each week Lisa will add a new, limited-edition piece of clothing to the shop.
I was honored to receive one of the first pieces a few weeks ago, the Hillside top. I’ve worn this top twice in the last week alone! It’s versatile, breezy, the perfect staple for all seasons. The texture of the fabric is incredible, and so is the construction. Good staples are hard to come by, you know?
There’s so much more to come from Hackwith Design House. Not only did I get a sneak peak of the collection she’s showing for MN Fashion Week, the pieces she’s launching in the coming weeks get better and better.
