Giveaway! Complete Skin Care Package with True Nature Botanicals

As we embark on this upcoming Labor Day weekend, many of you will be heading out for one last bask in the sun. Between commuting from my in-laws and seemingly endless airline travel for work, I wasn’t able to spend as much time as I had hoped outdoors. My plans this weekend involve moving back into my house and beginning the sisyphean task of unpacking and reorganizing my home, while packing up seasonal items that I won’t use until next summer. Goodbye SPF 50. Hello super-hydrating lotion.

For the majority of my adult life, I’ve had a pretty simple and straightforward routine: SPF 15 every day, drink plenty of water (still working on that) and don’t go to bed wearing makeup. These three rituals have helped me throughout the years, but as I am now in my {ahem} 30’s, I am starting to think more about what steps I need to take to keep my skin looking healthy. Thanks to the recommendations of friends and colleagues, I’ve discovered a brand I’ve grown to love, True Nature Botanicals.

Hillary Peterson, CEO of True Nature Botanicals, was kind enough to answer some of my questions about the company and provide me with some tips/tricks to shake up my own skin care routine. The good people at True Nature Botanicals are also giving away a total skincare overhaul package, and a customized regime for one lucky reader. See entry details following my interview with Hilary below!

What sets True Nature Botanicals apart from other skincare lines?

The main thing that sets True Nature Botanicals products apart from others is the results that they deliver…without toxins. We hear from customers regularly that they cannot believe that for the first time, they are using products that REALLY make a difference. Just the other day, we received this e-mail and it is very indicative of the e-mails that we receive on a weekly basis:

“I wanted to let you know how happy I have been with my products. I cannot believe the difference in my skin! I have used high-end brands for years and only recently turned to toxin-free products due to health issues. I simply cannot believe the results I have seen in such a short period of time. Using your products are the two parts of my day I look forward to.” -Kari Varga

Needless to say, it is extremely gratifying to help our customers age gracefully and feel happy with their skin – and it’s rewarding to know that we don’t need to expose them to anything toxic to do it!

Tell us more about the ingredients you use in your products?

There is so much to say about our ingredients because in the end, when it comes to a great meal or amazing skincare products, the same is true…ingredients matter! What is important about our ingredients is BOTH the quality and the quantity of results-oriented ingredients that we use. Quantity of key ingredients is so important. It’s a personal mission of mine to educate consumers and teach people how to really read an ingredient label. I want them to understand that if a key ingredient appears at the bottom of an ingredient list, it probably doesn’t have much impact on their skin. With regard to quality, we consider three important criteria when selecting our ingredients:

  1. We never use toxins. Not ever.
  2. We look at clinical studies to identify the most effective ingredients on earth.
  3. We source from suppliers who care as much about quality as we do.

Why is sourcing so important to the process?

By sourcing from suppliers who care as much about quality as we do, we are able to produce products that consistently exceed our customer’s expectations. An example is the lavender that we use in some of our products. It is a high-altitude lavender, grown in the South of France that is made with flowers only, no stems. This results in smoothness of scent that is so beautiful and unlike the more sharp, camphoraceous lavender scent that many are familiar with. We sell direct so that we can spend as much as we need to on the most beautiful and impactful ingredients available. From French Rose de Mai to microencapsulated retinol that offers time released results, each ingredient contributes to the superior results that we deliver.

On your website you talk about the “science of skincare”. How does science factor into True Nature Botanicals? Can you explain what “biomimetic” means and why this is important to True Nature Botanicals?

By understanding where aging initiates and how it is caused, we can deliver the right ingredients to where they are needed to make a measurable difference. An example is our Pacific Face Oil. We say that our products are biomimetic because they mirror nature’s design and replenish what is lost through the aging process. This means that they take the complexity of skin into account and deliver an equally complex solution. Many face oils, for instance do not include the harder to source Omega 3 essential fatty acids.  Younger skin has an abundance of Omega 3 EFA’s that are lost over time. Adding them back helps to bring back our youthful glow.  Equally important, a measurable quantity of potent anti-oxidants will help to fight the free radical damage that causes the inflammation that contributes to skin aging. With all of this in mind, three of the key ingredients in our Pacific Face Oil are:

Chia seed and kiwi seed oils:

Chia seeds are the best natural source of Omega-3 fatty acids, and kiwi seeds are not far behind. Omega-3 fatty acids help strengthen cell membranes’ barriers. Good barrier protective function means water and nutrients can enter the cells while toxins are kept out. When your cells are adequately nourished, skin glows.

Passion fruit oil and papaya seed oil:

Passion fruit and papaya seed oils are cold-pressed from tropical fruits high in Omega 6 and 9, Vitamins A & C and Potassium. They penetrate the skin quickly, conditioning the skin with special enzymes that help dissolve excess sebum and impurities on the skin’s surface.

Marine EFAs™:

A proprietary blend of essential fatty acids (EFAs), providing a high concentration of the all-important Omega-3 essential fatty acid known as EPA as well as DHA. It contains one of the very few non-fish sources of these essential EFAs

Important note: We are teaching consumers to read their labels and to understand that if key ingredients show up at the bottom of their ingredient listing, there is less of a chance that they will have an impact.  Consumers should look for high impact ingredients in the top and middle of their ingredient listings.

Based on my skin type (combination) what would you recommend as a skincare regimen?

If you are prone to breakouts, I would say that you should try the Pacific Balancing Face Oil. If that is not an issue, the Pacific Face Oil should be perfect. With combination skin, I would say that you only need to use a drop or two in the morning and then I would use 4-6 drops at night. I recommend Misting with Pacific Mist first as it hydrates and helps the face absorb fully. Plus it is so luxurious! At night I recommend using the Night Serum with Retinol 4-5 times a week and if you’re up for it, adding the Topical Vitamin C treatment to the retinol increases the antiaging power of your nighttime treatment. I absolutely love every product in the line but I am trying to prioritize!

Hypothetically, say you are a woman in your early 30’s, is it too early to begin anti-aging skincare routine?

Absolutely not!  At the age of 30, the skin has already begun to age and taking great care all along pays off. It is much easier, for instance, to prevent the free radical damage, caused by exposure to the elements as well as the natural aging process, with anti-oxidant laden products than to address the damage once it is done.

Summer in Minnesota does wonders for my skin, save for the occasional sunburn, but the winter months are so dry. What products should I use to keep my skin hydrated during the winter?

During the winter months proper hydration and exfoliation are key. Using a face oil, morning and night, offers a much deeper level of hydration beyond the outer most layer of your skin. Layering on our Pacific Face Serum at will improve barrier function, increase moisture retention and restore suppleness, which is important in a cold climate. Exfoliation is also important as it helps remove dry, dead skin cells, and restore a healthy glow. Exfoliated skin allows the hydrating products get where they need to go to adequately nourish and hydrate. That said, don’t overdo it. A little exfoliation makes a big difference and too much can exacerbate the dryness that accompanies winter. We find that people love our Exfoliating Moisture Mask, which uses lactic acid to gently exfoliate, and mango and avocado butters to offer incredible hydration for the skin. We also recently launched our new Exfoliating Cleanser, which uses an incredible mushroom extract that exfoliates gently while also strengthening the cell walls.  Both products do a great job of exfoliating without drying skin which is important. Finally, I keep our lip treatment close in winter…it is so incredibly moisturizing.

What is your personal go-to-can’t-live-without product?

I would have to say that my two current can’t live without products are the Pacific Balancing Face Oil and the Pacific Night Serum with Retinol.  Although it is probably hard to imagine someone prone to breakouts at 53, that’s me!  When I use the Pacific Balancing Face Oil morning and night, my skin is consistently blemish free which is so wonderful.  As you can imagine I had a real vested interest in the development of that product.  My mom was still breaking out in her 60’s so I am happy to have a solution.

Ah! Wonderful. I recently researched True Nature Botanicals as I am currently searching for a new skin-care regimen. They seem amazing.
My skin recently started developing acne, along with “beginner” wrinkles. I have fairly sensitive skin. Nowadays, everything seems to clog my pores. It’s been difficult to find a quality, all natural product that doesn’t break the bank. I would love to win the giveaway! (And, cherry on top, September 9 is my birthday!)

One of my biggest challenges is oily skin (even though I’m in my 30s now!), and I especially have trouble finding products that protect my skin from sun damage without clogging my pores. I would love to try these products!

This looks amazing! I have been switching out all my makeup and skin care products to natural/organic/non-toxic. My biggest struggle so far is just trying all the different products out there. There are a lot, and I’m used to my normal stuff, so it’s hard to spend the money on something when I’m not sure if I’ll like it and want to try something else. These kinds of posts are so helpful.

In my late 20s, I STILL haven’t left acne behind me 🙁 I’m trying to transition to natural products that are better for my overall self, but I recently had some samples of chemical-laden products that are actually working…so it’s a dilemma.

  9. Paige

    September 4th, 2015 at 2:16 pm

Clogged pores and dullness! I’ve been using a new cleanser I love but I need something more nourishing.

  10. Christina

    September 4th, 2015 at 2:20 pm

I had severe cystic acne for a long time. I kept trying to stick with products that were free of chemicals but I had to throw in the towel and pursue an accutane prescription with my upcoming wedding. Now I am happy ot say I am blemish free (with the exception of the occasional one), but I still need an overhaul to my skincare routine to ensure my skin recovers from the dryness it recently experienced.

My skin tends to be dull with little elasticity, and I have very large pores that tend to get clogged, especially on my nose and chin. I would love to try True Nature Botanicals!

my skin is sensitive. not to mention dehydrated, i have some scaring due to acne on my chin, and it’s pretty much combination. not to oily not to dry. I like to get it to have that glow, and even though i am almost 30 years old I would always like something that combats aging.

Still battling frequent, unpredictable acne attacks well into my 20s. I’ve tried just about everything, but really need the push to justify spending a bit more on products that are truly toxin free. Hoping this would help!

I am almost fourty and my skin is transitioning… I used to have oily skin, but now it is not as oily anymore. I have some small lines around my eyes and a few sun spots. One in particular on my right cheek next to my ear is family large. I have very rare breakouts.

My issue is that after my second child and moving to california from ny, the sun and the lack of sleep and exhaustion is taking a toll on my skin. It’s dryer and I am starting to see some sun spots. A natural and new skin care regimen sounds like something I would love to try!

Lately I’ve been dealing with huge shifts in my skin and overall health. After years of being super lucky with my skin I woke up one day with severe eczema (thanks to an allergic reaction) all over my face and body. That was 8 months ago and it’s been a battle ever since. I’m trying to heal from the inside and have gone green/non-toxic with my skincare/household products etc. I still suffer awful flareups every few weeks but overall it is improving – I’m just grateful for companies like True Nature Botanicals that make dealing with my newly super sensitive/reactive skin so much easier (and with such beautiful packaging/branding I feel like I’m pampering myself instead of ‘maintaining’). Thank you x

Skin care woes? Oh man, where do I begin! I am a pimple popping, blackhead annihilating, stress breakout battle ground, who also travels and survives Minnesota winters with the best of them!

My skin has gone through the storm and back again. I have tried everything! From a young age I tried whatever Cosmo and Jennifer Aniston prescribed me. Then made the progression from Target masks and skin care kits onto Coop clay and witch craft potions. Oh, and then there was that Proactiv subscription in middle school that dried out my skin leaving it in a powdery state (very embarrassing for an awkward quiet 14 year old).

Anyway, I would really love the chance to treat this skin of mine right. It’s been through a lot. Love the mission of this product, it seems perfect for my lifestyle.

    A big warm thanks XXX

As an avid triathlete in Minnesota, my skin takes a beating from chlorine, sun and sweat. The result – melasma, milia, dry patches, freckles (although I love my freckles). The face oil and exfoliating cleanser look amazing, and I love that their toxin-free!

New job, new city, new kitten, late nights, early mornings, lots of stress. And coffee. Unfortunately, this means my skincare routine is the first thing to go especially because I haven’t found any natural products I’m in love with. Looks like True Nature Botanicals could be my new go-to. No toxins and beautiful packaging (hallelujah recyclable glass bottles!) makes for a winning combination!

I’ve been dabbling in oils, but haven’t quite found the right one just yet. I have very similar skin issues as you — combination skin, so so dry in the winter, the occasional stress-related breakout. I would love to try these products out!

My skin has been acting bananas since having a baby last year! Dry, breakouts, red spots…. and not to mention the wrinkles that are adding up on the daily 😉 I would LOVE to try these products, and I really appreciate that they’re free of toxins. I discovered how important that was when I was pregnant and searching for more natural products to use. What a lovely giveaway!

As a 29-year-old on the cusp of my thirties it is safe to say that my skin has taken the brunt of my life experiences. While I’m proud to show my stripes of gray hairs from nursing my husband back to health after a cancer diagnosis, my face has never been the same. I would love to try True Nature Botanicals to help combat the early aging signs that are now part of my daily life. Thank you for the opportunity!

I’d say my biggest skincare concern right now is just figuring out the right regimen. With freckled, combination skin I’m looking for something simple that addresses both breakouts and the beginning signs of aging. I’m intrigued!!

Ugh, skin. Last winter my skin suddenly got so dry that I was using a moisturizing mask as a twice daily moisturizer. But right now? Oil central. Plus, hey I’m 30 and wrinkles are coming!

I have senitive skin that has both oily & dry areas. I am also fighting fine lines and wrinkles. This line of products sound so exciting & perfect for someone with sensitive skin. Due to circumstances caused by my husbands health, I am not able to treat myself to products like this so would be grateful if you could enter me in the drawing to win products from this line. Thank you!

I am so lucky to live in Austin, Texas, land of sunshine and tacos. We never have a true winter here, but my biggest struggle is with keeping my skin moisturized and away from too much sun.

My skin seems to be changing as I get older (I’m 47) and I’m having trouble figuring out what my skin needs. It tends to be on the dry side and seems rather dull looking to me.

I know my skin issues are due to hormones, stress, and genetics, but I still want to support my skin in the best way possible, and I’ve been committed to non-toxic for years now (I don’t need icky stuff messing even further with my hormones). I like that you interviewed the creator of this company, it gives a human face to the brand!

I have struggled with acne for over ten years now and I’ve gotten to the point where I’ve given up on going to the derm, trying new products, change my diet, since nothing seems to work. I do like facial oil and might have to try one of these!

I have sensitive skin that’s prone to redness and congestion. I also have cystic acne on my chin that nothing seems to fix. And now that I’m in my mid 30’s, I’m seeing sign of aging. I love that these products are not toxic (especially because I’m trying to get pregnant) and seem to work really well (based on all the reviews I read).

I’ve got a little bit of everything going on with my skin….clogged pores on chin and nose, some hyperpigmentation under my eyes and on my forehead (melasma), dehydration, and fine lines (the joys of being 35!). I would love to give this line a try!

My biggest skin care concern is acne. I’ve had it for 15 years and can’t seem to find anything to help long term. I really don’t want to give in to accutane, but after trying eeeeverything else, it might be my only option. Would love to try out these products before doing that!

I have a dresser filled with skin products and have tried everything out there (including rubbing strawberries on my face thanks to my hippie mother and accutane thanks to traditional medicine) for my combination skin and moderate acne. I have been in a routine that keeps my acne in check, but I have been looking for something to take my skin to that next level.

I’m in my late 20s and have recently started getting some horrific cystic acne along my jawline. My skin is worse now than it was as a teen! I’m really searching for a way to deal with it that doesn’t involve antibiotics or hormonal birth control and would love to try this out! I’m also starting to get fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes–too many years spent hiking with no sunscreen back before I realized the importance of skin protection. Whoops…

Skin care woes: super-dry skin in winter, gets worse when I’m stressed. Hoping to get on a better diet-and-topical track to keep my 20-something skin in better condition for when it does start to age. (Can definitely see a difference already since the undergrad days…!)

I’m constantly battling between my skin being super dry when I attempt to wer makeup and other products (first thing in the morning – when I’m getting ready). Then my skin gets really oily throughout the day. Looking for a great product that will carry me through a long busy day!

  112. Katy

    September 7th, 2015 at 10:39 am

I would actually really love to gift this to my mom if I won. She is still using skincare products and makeups that contain tons of toxins and tries to hide her problem areas that pop up with more toxic products. I know True Nature would do wonders for her combination skin if I could just get her to try them. Trying to unstick her from her habits of using the products she has for 30+ years that she is used to has been so hard, this just might do it though.

I have oily skin and it has been a battle my entire life! I also work as a dental assistant, so have a constant breakout of clogged pores around where my masks sit all day. As I get into my late 20s and realize I need to actually take care of my skin for the future, I’m looking for one brand rather than having to buy so many products from all different companies. I’m still learning so much about skin care since I haven’t really used many products up until now. This sounds like a really nice line that would accommodate all my needs!

  120. Sara

    September 7th, 2015 at 11:56 am

I have sensitive skin that I want to keep hydrated and clean without irritating it. There are so many ingredients in most skincare products that cause redness and rashes — I have to use super simple, pure products to keep my face from getting splotchy and dehydrated. Would love to try these out!

Approaching my mid-30s and I struggle with over dry skin and more break outs now than in my teens. I’ve researched skin care options that are cruelty free and use use natural, nontoxic ingredients, but often shy away from purchasing higher end products for fear of paying a lot for very little. Having the Wit & Delight endorsement goes along way in telling me that True Botanicals may offer all the things I want in a skin care regimine–quality, effective, cruelty free, and priced fairly.

I’ve always wanted to try this line! I’m 25 with combo, sensitive skin. I still suffer from the occasional breakout and clogged pores. I’m interested in trying an antiaging line and really like the science behind these products.

In my late 20s and have been prone to breakouts all my adult life. This year I’ve been slowly switching to using mostly plant-based products on my skin, and it’s helped calm down my skin and hope to see it continue to improve. A challenge though is that I haven’t found a lotion/cream to use at night yet. The higher end “natural” brand that was recommended to me didn’t work out—the moisture feels great when I first apply it, but it ends up too greasy and I wake up with breakouts (plural!) when I use it. I really wanted it to workout, especially because of the $$ invested. Open to suggestions!

About a week ago I decided that I should start shopping with the same standard I use to shop for my groceries with my skin care products. I threw out all of my expensive cremes that I bought due to clever marketing and packaging but were filled with bad ingredients. These are exactly what I’m looking for and would love a chance to try them!

As I’ve entered “the other side” of my twenties, I’ve noticed I’m actually getting small breakouts way more often than I did as a teen! Turning 26 brought on a lovely combination of the beginnings of some wrinkles on my forehead, plus small pimples. I’d like to find a routine that addresses my skincare needs now, and focuses on preventative care for the future.

  133. Mariel A.

    September 7th, 2015 at 12:15 pm

Although I’m in my 20s already, I still have frequent breakouts and very uneven and bumpy skin. Instead of wearing more makeup to cover these things up, it’s my new goal to improve my skin so I can wear less makeup and still be confident!

I’m always trying to find the right balance between days when I have hormonal acne skin and other days when I have dry tired-looking skin. I’d love to find one system that soothes my skin rather than playing whack-a-mole with skincare products!

Keeping my sensitive skin balanced is my challenge. I experience occasional hormonal breakouts, which are not so cute at 29. I work as a restaurant manager and sommelier, so I expose my skin to a lot of extreme temperature (scorching prep kitchen, frigid walk-in coolers) and perspiration on a daily basis. Furthermore, I’m an avid outdoors liver, so I worry about sun damage. Help!

I have very fair, sensitive skin that is prone to skin damage. I’ve recently started developing forehead wrinkles and I just can’t stomach an option like Botox. My sarcasm only works with full facial expression! I love products like these that are natural. I can’t wait to try them!

  148. Halley Spencer

    September 7th, 2015 at 1:10 pm

I have battled with acne for years. In my early twenties I began a round of Isotretinoin (Accutane) which did quite a number of my skin. I went from having oily, acne-prone skin to having extremely sensitive, relatively clear combination skin with dry splotchy patches near my hairline. Ever since ending the round of Isotretinoin I’ve searched (to no avail) for a skin care product that will hydrate dryness without adding unnecessary oils. The idea of being given the opportunity to use True Nature Botanicals to aid in my skin care woes is exciting and leaves me feeling hopeful that there is a skin care product line that finally works!

I would love to try out this brand! At age 34 my skin is very different than it was just a few years ago and I have yet to find a product that is the right fit. Mostly these days I just sleep with a layer of coconut, almond or emu oil on as my night time moisturizer. I just don’t feellije it’s getting absorbed enough though. I would love some help!

    September 7th, 2015 at 1:12 pm

First off, what wonderful bottling! Reading their responses about their philosophy makes me very intrigued as to what’s in those frosted apothecary-like bottles. They sound eager to really help with the aging process, through teaching and integrity.
My woes are that I had irritated, acne-prone skin all my life until recently, which I fear might have been rough for my delicate skin. At 32, the breakouts are finally easing up, but I’ve also learned how to deal with it- no chemicals and only natural oils like rosehip seed oil. I am just trying to pamper my skin now, to make up for any damage done. Also, I want to be ahead of the game, and give my beloved skin the best nourishment for the years ahead.

It seems like I have always had the exact 50/50 mix of dry and oily skin! No matter now hydrated or dry my skin is I always have pimples. It really started getting worse in my mid-twenties and now my dermatologists say it may last the rest of my life 🙁 I always want to always use organic, sustainable and fairly sourced products though, even though my wallet may disagree!

Skincare and finding new ways to take care and protect my skin has become somewhat of an obsession. I am in my mid 20s and have always believed in being proactive when it comes to taking care of my skin. I am always searching for new things to add to my routine. I struggle with oily skin and visible pores. This line- aside from being very beautifully packaged- looks like a great all around skincare routine. Would love to try it out!

Only in the last few months have I really started to go natural with my products (cleaning supplies, body wash, skin care,etc.). I love it! After going through some silly health stuff this last year I found that natural is the way to go. This product sounds incredible! Just in the last few months I’ve started to break out a ton and I’m trying to find the best route to go. I would absolutely love and appreciate trying thi!

Love what this skincare line stands for. Often times, my sensitive skin gets very irritated by all the artificial ingredients and chemicals stored in some of the skincare products I’ve used before. I like how natural these products you mentioned are! My skin is combination skin. My makeup melts off quickly around my t zone area and leaves dry patches. I have many hyper pigmentation spots from previous breakouts. Although I break out, I have pretty dry skin and gets red easily. On my bad days, covering them with makeup is probably the least favorite part of getting ready. I’m in my mid 20s and cant wait until I stop breaking out!

I would love to win this giveaway. I try to always use natural, plant-based beauty products. I’m a grad student who suffers from breakouts probably related to stress. Also, with big school bills, having nice products to pamper myself with is rare!

My skin woes are redness and dry skin. I swear I could make a nightly mask of Vaseline and it’d still dry in the morning.

Note: id never actually douse my face with Vaseline.

THIS SOUNDS AMAZING! I would love some help with my skin! I’m currently going to nursing school and could use all of the beauty help I can get! 🙂 I have a bit of acne and some dark spots from acne that I’m dying to start taking care of! Thanks for the awesome post! Xoxo

Skin care woes – dryness, redness, sensitive…occasional breakouts. Curious to check out this new to me brand!

    September 7th, 2015 at 9:02 pm

I have dry/combination skin that is, at times, difficult to manage. I also live in a dry climate, so the winters can be especially brutal to my skin. I’m feeling like it’s high time I switch up my routine and try something new. Thank you for introducing me to this brand!

  181. Grace

    September 7th, 2015 at 9:13 pm

I have oily skin, redness, puffiness, and acne! It’s so hard to find a product that addresses all those issues at once without causing another problem. I’m curious about this brand and can’t wait to try it out!

  182. Jessica

    September 7th, 2015 at 9:32 pm

finding toxin free products and a company you can trust is as challenging as my combination skin. I’d love to give these products a try as I’m also in my (ahem) 30s. 😉

My poor, neglected skin usually gets slapped down with a little aloe vera and occasionally exfoliated if my roommate leaves her cleanser in the bathroom. You know what I didn’t anticipate as I near 30? Battling both wrinkles and breakouts simultaneously. Anyway, seems like a great product line!

  184. Colleen

    September 7th, 2015 at 11:10 pm

My main issue is chin acne even though I’m in my late 20s. It drives me crazy and I’m always on the hunt for something that will provide relief.

Finding a skincare line that doesn’t use toxins is something you’ll find in my browser history. I’ve heard about True Nature Botanicals, and after reading this, I’m even more curious to try the line out. I have combination skin. Clogged pores and dry patches are not my favorite words. Thanks for the opportunity!

This would be amazing! I’m currently dealing with some chronic health problems, and I’ve found that as I’ve addressed them, my skin fluctuates constantly as a result. Finding something that’s helpful with the breakouts I’m prone to along my chin as well as balancing the dryness I get on my cheeks would be a miracle. Add in living in the humidity of the Gulf Coast, and I feel like I’ve got my hands full!

I am currently in the process of revamping my skin care routine. I’ve been pretty good at moisturizing the past few years, but as I near 30 I’ve decided to get a little more serious about taking even better care of my skin. I would love to try this natural skin care line as I’m definitely all for naturals products I’m putting on or in my body constantly.

I’m about to hit 30 and have a hard time finding a product that works well for both anti-blemish and anti-wrinkle. I break out every now and then and am starting to get a few wrinkles around my eyes and mouth. I also still have acne scars I can’t seem to get rid of.

  189. Molly House

    September 8th, 2015 at 8:43 am

Pigmentation around cheeks, dark eye circles and large pores. I have a dry forhead and cheeks but oily nose and chin.

  191. Allie

    September 8th, 2015 at 9:17 am

Puffiness under the eyes, redness, clogged pores and acne. It’s been a struggle to find products that don’t irritate my skin – would be great to try this line.

  192. Kate

    September 8th, 2015 at 9:28 am

Ugh, dealing with breakouts and trying to prevent wrinkles at the same time. Seems like you should only have to deal with one or the other!

  193. Kirsten

    September 8th, 2015 at 10:04 am

I have a little bit of all the skin woes e.g. Ageing, hyper pigmentation, spots and enlarged pores. A complete skin care package could be the answer to all my skin concerns.

  194. Amy

    September 8th, 2015 at 10:07 am

I have combination skin, which can be tricky to care for, when part of my face feels super dry, and another is oily to boot! And then there’s the breakouts (though thankfully those have decreased lately). I’m never quite sure what products to use that won’t further irritate my skin. But with Hilary’s suggestions, I would love to give this line a try!

  195. Kirsten

    September 8th, 2015 at 10:10 am

I have a little bit of everything e.g. ageing concerns, hyper-pigmentation, spots and enlarged pores. A complete skin care package from True Nature Botanicals could be the answer to my skin woes.

I am a strong believer in preventive care. What we invest in ourselves almost parallels to our quality of life. I have started the journey of finding a quality care regimen for my sin care routine. True Nature Botanicals sounds like a company I can believe in, I would love a chance to try their products!

I have age spots (ugh) and occasionally break out on my chin. But the most difficult thing for me is that I sweat, so whenever I put SPF or moisturizer on my face to protect from the sun, it feels like it sweats right off! Help!

I have very sensitive skin and would love to try this line. During the winter my skin is very dry and chapped and during the dry summers here in Utah my skin is still dry and also flaky!

  209. Judy

    September 8th, 2015 at 1:45 pm

I get white heads under my skin that look like little raised bumps. I try not to pick at them or squeeze them out bc then I just do more damage to my skin which takes 2 weeks to heal. However, I wish these bumps would just go away.

    Big ol’ pores 🙁

  211. Rachael

    September 8th, 2015 at 2:31 pm

Here I am, thinking I was going to luck out with the occasional breakout my whole life! Around 6 months ago, my hormones went BONKERS and I’ve had crazy skin problems: adult acne, dry flakey skin, the works. I’ve never had to worry about the products I’ve used but have recently been trying to be much more intentional about what I’m putting on my skin – very trial and error!

  212. Shelly

    September 8th, 2015 at 2:33 pm

I have issues with dark pigmentation and large pores on my nose. I also get bumps along my jaw line which I thought my cell phone my be causing but they are on both jawlines. I have somewhat sensitive skin so your products sound like an excellent fit for me.

My biggest skin woe: a lack of routine! I love how this package could help create a daily ritual, a little me time at the beginning and end of everyday.

  214. Sydney

    September 8th, 2015 at 4:39 pm

Love being introduced to new skincare lines! My biggest woe is the dark spots I’ve gotten from using birth control and in a close second my random acne breakouts.

  215. Katherine Thul

    September 8th, 2015 at 4:49 pm

Cystic acne every few months. 🙁

I never went through the skin care problems most teenagers go through.. until I was 21! My skin started breaking out a lot and my pores always seemed clogged with dirt. Since then, my skin has improved but my skin still seems splotchy and bumpy sometimes.

  217. Becca

    September 8th, 2015 at 5:15 pm

Clogged pores are my main issue, but dry skin is a close second and preventative aging is creeping up the list as I make my way into my 30s! This line sounds amazing.

What a lovely giveaway! I’ve been wanting to change over my skincare products to something more natural. I’m 29 and starting to notice fine lines on my forehead but also still get the occasional breakout. Win or not, I’ll have to try True Nature Botanicals soon.

I’m gearing up for a brutally dry and cold Minnesota winter, my skin always seems a little more tired and dull come spring. Also, I’ve always had freckles, but recently I’ve begun to notice sun spots! Gasp! Especially on my décolletage. I have yet to find a skin care line that shows noticeable results in this department…

Sun spots are my biggest skincare issues, followed by just finding good products that I would like for my normal skincare routine.

My skin does ok, but with a new baby I don’t put myself first…I would love the self confidence of good skin while I work on the other elements (like baby weight loss).

I’m in my mid 20s, and have been struggling with acne around my chin/jawline. I’ve been experimenting with natural and organic products for a while now, in many aspects of my life, but I can’t seem to find a truly non-toxic skincare routine that helps to prevent and heal my acne, as well as heal acne scars and red marks. I’d love to try out these products!

  229. Christina

    September 9th, 2015 at 9:12 am

I’m in my 30’s and still get acne. Ugh! I thought that was supposed to end at 20! I have tried many different natural products (I don’t like using products with harsh chemicals), as well as improving my diet and drinking lots of water. I think it’s something I am just going to have to live with…

  230. Ashley

    September 9th, 2015 at 9:16 am

Recently my skin has been a mess. I’m talking worse than it was at age 16. For me my biggest skin skin concerns are cleaning out my pores while making sure to not compromise on radiance and skin tone.

  231. Elizabeth

    September 9th, 2015 at 9:27 am

My skin is unbalanced-combination skin. I have been battling signs of aging while stuggling with breakouts. I would love to try to balance out my skin with all natural products and win the battle with aging and breakouts.

  232. Tamara

    September 9th, 2015 at 9:58 am

I struggle with acne and uneven skin tone. I tend to break out regularly on my chin, especially when stressed or when I eat certain foods. The idea of an all natural skin care routine certainly appeals to me. I would be so gracious if I were to win the opportunity to try out True Nature Botanicals.

  233. Kandy

I’ve got rosacea, which leaves me red and blotchy. I tried something the dermatologist gave me and it did not help!
