I don’t know about you but my mom is the ultimate “mom.” What I mean by this is – she’s devoted her whole life to my siblings and I and selflessly always put our needs before her own. I don’t think I fully understood how complicated motherhood is until I had my own kids, nor did I fully understand the kind of sacrifice she made to make sure she was there for us no matter what. While this weekend is the day we set aside every year to say “thanks” to the people who brought us into this world and help keep us safe, secure, and loved each and every day, it’s a great reminder that a little bit of acknowledgment goes a long way. Whether you are shopping for your own mother, your mother-in-law, a close friend, your sister, or your wife, this year, we put a little additional effort into our Mother’s Day approach.
