Fans of Hackwith Design House are in for a real treat this month. Lisa’s offering continues to expand, and this month she’s introducing more tailor pieces. Let’s start with this coat.
I got my hands on the coat this Monday and I haven’t taken it coat off! It’s warm enough to wear over a tee shirt, and light enough to wear over a sweater. The high collar is dramatically understated (the best kind of drama), and the extended pocket seam adds an unexpected detail. These coats are going to fly out of the store, so if you’re interested, be ready to purchase when they go live October 6th!
Next up is this lovely little slip dress. The fabric is just barely sheer and made perfectly for layering. I chose to wear mine under my favorite oversized sweater, which was just a little too short to wear as a sweater dress. The slip adds just enough length to make the look modest enough to wear out of the house. The slip will be available in this lovely soft cream and in black on October 13th.
The last two pieces are two great staples for any closet! First up is a pretty little crop top, which pairs perfectly with a pair of high-cut pants. This beauty has a little slit running down the front; a detail I love. This top will be available in additional colors October 20th.
This pant is a new style for me: a wide leg, high-waisted cropped slack. The pant proves Lisa’s designs fit any women’s body, and I found them incredibly slimming. These pants will launch on line October 27th.
Stay tuned to Hackwith Design House on Instagram to keep up with the release of each item, and please let me know if you have any questions regarding fit and fabric. I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek! Thanks to the lovely Melissa Oholendt for photographing these pieces!
Additional Details: Sweater is vintage JCrew / Shoes are APC / Bag is Lotuff / Flats are MARTINIANO.

Did you know W&D now has a resource library of Printable Art, Templates, Freebies, and more?
Thank you for being here. For being open to enjoying life’s simple pleasures and looking inward to understand yourself, your neighbors, and your fellow humans! I’m looking forward to chatting with you.
But can we talk about your hair! Photo #4, already pinned.
Where is your scarf from?
Hi Kelly! It’s actually a gift from my mom, she knitted it! Wool & The Gang has some great kits for making a similar scarf…you also have the option to buy it.
Kate!
1. You are gorgeous
2. That coat! I love it!
3. Your house! (so many exclamations, but they are all genuine)
That’s all. To the point.
Kirstin you are the sweetest. Thank you!!
I agree with Sara… We need your a post with your hair tips!!!
Your wish is my command! 😉
These are such gorgeous, minimal pieces. I just love Hackwith!
I’ve been dreaming of that coat ever since she put out a little sneak peek! Hoping to snatch!
Can we get some details on the fit of the coat? And the fabric? I’ve been wanting it since they did a sneak peak a while ago!
Absolutely! It’s 100% wool, so it’s a dry clean only coat. The fit is true to size. I’m wearing a small and still have room to wear a sweater underneath, but it’s snug. If you want to use it to layer over thick sweaters or want an oversized look, go a size up. I could have gone a size down if I wanted it to be super fitted. Hope that helps!
