** THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED **
A business partnership is like a marriage; it has its ups and downs and you sometimes don’t know at the onset if it’s going to last. As a sole proprietor, or lone wolf as I sometimes like to call it, I’m always curious to know the dynamic between two people can work together, just about seamlessly, to produce amazing results.
One partnership that embodies this kind of synergy is that of Mitzie Wong and Wendy Wurtzburger of Philadelphia-based design firm Roar + Rabbit. Both of these women worked in various roles at some amazing home brands before coming together to launch their debut home collection exclusively at West Elm. The Roar + Rabbit collection includes furniture, lighting, textiles, and decorative objects, West Elm’s biggest collaboration to date. Thanks for their new partnership with West Elm, they’re making their debut to the masses!
In short, the collection is a perfect blend of traditional and modern, a “new modern” mixing hard, clean lines with pastels and incorporating bold graphics with timeless silhouettes. I first saw the amazing Swivel Chair in their newest catalog and immediately dog-eared the corner of the page. Gorgeous mid-century lines, plush velvet, and pleating in the most “it” colors of the season. The chair wasn’t the only looker in this collection. The Roar + Rabbit Linear Side Table and dresser bring a cool geometric energy to your everyday pieces. They’re stunning.
And now for the cherry on top! The giveaway. I’m thrilled to partner with West Elm to giveaway the Swivel Chair, one of the collection’s signature pieces (pictured above!), to one lucky reader. Yay! To enter, leave a comment below with how’d you style this amazing piece in your own home. One reader will be chosen at random next Thursday (1/28) @12noon CST. No purchase necessary. Entrants limited to continental United States only.

I would love to use the Swivel chair as a lounging chair in my bedroom, a perfect chair to cuddle up in with a throw during the cold winters!
I love this whole collection! We have recently moved to a new home and have a bare living room so I’d love to set the standard in that room with one of these beautiful swivel chairs!
We just bought a case study daybed in a grey weave and a vintage Turkish kilim for our new living room. This chair would be a perfect fit with them!
I’d love to use the Swivel chair in the corner of my home office next to unfinished wood shelves and a matching brass wall mounted reading lamp. Perfect reading nook.
What a gorgeous chair! Those pleats add so much visual interest and the legs are so unique. This would be a perfect accent for the underused corner of my living room — more seating for cozy evenings and game nights. A real gem!
Living in a very small one bedroom apartment I’ve been looking for a statement chair for the living room to best make use of the limited space we have. The style of this chair is gorgeous and it would be the perfect thing to curl up and read a book in.
I would grab the blue version and it would help to snazz up my very beige rental.
The color and fabric of this chair is stunning. I’d love to put it in our newly purchased home, in our living room. The color and shape of the chair would pair nicely with our vintage teak pieces and oversized fireplace.
This swivel chair is amazing. I just updated my living room and I’m looking for comfy but sleek and lower profile chairs to bookend my sofa. This would be a perfect chair
This would be perfect as a side chair in my living room. I would accessorize it with a fun pillow and, of course, my cat.
Ooo, that dusty blush, with the iron and brass bed we have in our guest room would be killer! The room is abnormally large (even bigger than the master) so we need some sort of seating area to help fill in the space. I’d tuck it right next to the window, which sits next to a bunch of trees, so you’ll feel like your in posh tree house!
I love that chair! I am moving next month and it would be the perfect pop of color in my new living room. Fingers crossed!!
I have a marble table from West Elm, and these would fit just PERFECTLY with them!!!
Awesome! We just moved into a new home in S. MPLS and this chair would look lovely in our mid-century-esque living room. 🙂
Amazing color! It would be a beautiful addition to the “sad” corner of my living room. I can’t get over the pleating… love it!
My gran had a very similar style chair (in olive green) that was tucked away in a corner with a side table and reading lamp. I have fond memories of sitting cross-legged paging through her old dog-eared Better Homes and Gardens. I would love to recreate her little spot with the swivel chair! The tufts and brass details are timeless.
my sister just moved out, and it would be amazing to have this chair for my mother to be able to enjoy some leisure time in our now spare bedroom 🙂
I’d love to use it in my room as a reading chair.
I love this chair! I’d put it near my window so I can watch all the snow coming down in the winter.
Love the pleats!
I’d cozy this chair up in my office/workspace near the floor to ceiling window, with a plushy throw, small table (maybe the linear one!) and a brass lamp to make a cozy spot for reading and relaxing.
With a new Great Dane puppy in the mix at our house, seating comes at a premium. Seeing as I’ve been booted off the couch :), a just for me chair sounds like a luxury!
Gorgeous! If I can convince the husband to put his lazy boy in his office, this beauty would go in my living room with a plant by it’s side and a knit blanket for cozying up 🙂
My studio apartment could totally use a chair like this to cuddle up in!
I would set it next to the fireplace, sit my handsome partner on it, and then beat him at Scrabble.
We recently moved into a new home and this chair would look beautiful in our new (and completely still unfurnished) living room!
I’d sit this beauty next to my umbrella plant by our bay windows.
I have the perfect corner in my living room for this chair. With a brightly colored blanket, and a lamp it will be the perfect nook to get cozy in!
This chair would be lovely with a small bolster pillow, my boy in it reading a fly fishing book, and the warm glow of a lamp overhead.
I love this chair! I would use it in our office/reading room to style up our space and add a pop of texture! We use the room everyday and would get tons of use out of this beautiful chair!
Wow!! I’d love to lounge in this in front of a fire in our living room, with a sidetable next to it, on which would be a reading lamp, a good book, and a hot cup of Bellocq tea. I’d have a fuzzy blanket over me and, most likely, our dachshund Fritz cuddled in my lap. ??
I LOVE this chair and would style it next to my bed as my own personal reading chair and ‘spot’ in the house.
I just bought a deep gray couch, and the blush chair would look amazing next to it! It would be my puppy’s new favorite sleep spot!
I would put this in a cozy nook in my bedroom with a dark gray, gold and pale pink color palette.
I’d love to use this chair in my newly redesigned home office.
I have this INCREDIBLE midcentury bedroom set that I acquired from a state sale; the original owner brought the entire set back to the states with her from Sweden! This chair would be the ideal compliment to my set as the texture and shape contrast would highlight the beauty of it all. Also, the walls of my house are covered with art of friends and colleagues, and I think adding this chair to the mix would really just bring it all together.
I’d replace my white plastic arm chair for this beauty in my living room. We have a small space with enough room for a couch and a chair and this would really add so much to the room! It’s so pretty!!!!
This chair would go perfect in or living room! We have a mix of modern and traditional furniture, combining my obsession for sleek design with furniture pieces that have been in my family for generations. I love it!
I would love to put it next to my fireplace with a wooden side table and a black floor lamp, paired with a black tufted leather couch. These are gorgeous, unique chairs!
It’d be the perfect loner in the corner of our bedroom!
My current bedroom vibe is bordering on southwestern – this chair would be perfect to shake things up a bit and give the room a little “je ne sais quoi” foil to the wrought iron and cowhide. It’s amazing!
This would be perfect in my Mid Century home! It would be amazing in my family room!
What a beautiful collection! I would love to have this chair in my home. I would use it in my bedroom, a great place to curl up and read a book.
That chair is amazing!! I’m in the process of redoing what was formally a formal living room into my library, and that chair would be perfect for the space!
This beautiful swivel chair would look perfect in our new living room. It would contrast great with our white couch and wooden floors plus it would add a bit of texture to the room.
Would love it for the living room and style it just the way it is! It’s just so perfect no throw is worthy!
This chair is spectacular! I’ve just painted my living room a very calm, cool grey. AND I picked up a couple of yards of fantastic light pink silk velvet for a song from my upholstery fabric remnants guy. I think a graphic pink pillow would look sweet in this chair, in front of a wall that’s a few shades lighter than the upholstery. Crossing my fingers!
Truthfully, my home is filled with IKEA. The look of this chair balances nicely against my modern, sleek furniture. I’d put it in an open space under a window next to a pile of magazines and a basket of blankets so I can use the swivel and never have to get up. My bold patterned rug underneath will tie it all together.
The chairs look so great in your home! I’d like to have one in my den next to the bookshelf and fireplace.
My living room needs this chair- in the reading book by my window! Gorgeous color and texture- would mirror the grey velvet studded west elm pillows I just bought added to the couch, and add depth to the dusty blue and mellow taupe color scheme.
This chair would be perfect in our upcoming bonus room makeover. My goal is to create a space for my husband that really reflects his style, and I am positive this chair sums it up!
