Your Ideal Fall Activity - According to your Zodiac Sign – Wit & Delight

Fall is, in my opinion, the most wonderful time of year, especially here in the Upper Midwest. The leaves are changing, your coffee tastes like a pumpkin, and people are wearing stylish plaid capes – what could be better? The only downside is that fall goes by quick quick quick – it can be tough to make sure you’re making the most of the season. I’m here to help you make the most out of autumn by suggesting your perfect fall activity based on your sign. Put on Nick Drake’s Bryter Layter (the *perfect* album for fall) and read along!

Aries March 21 – April 19 – Tailgating

A rowdy football tailgate is perfect for an energetic Aries. Aries thrive on competition, so count on them to be the first ones to suggest a flip cup throw down (they will probably win) or a jello shot contest. Since Aries are all about energy, they will bring the pre-game excitement all the way to the 4th quarter.

Taurus April 20 – May 20 – Wine Tasting

Sensual Taurus loves the finer things in life, so cozying up to a glass of Cabernet at the local winery is just the thing to help them wind down. Anything luxurious is up their alley. Bonus points if the winery has a killer view (and a delicious cheese plate).

Gemini May 21 – June 20 – Halloween Party

Popular Geminis have more friends than they know what to do with – mix that with their wildly creative side, they are the perfect sign to throw an unforgettable Halloween party. Expect them to have the best costume (damn, why didn’t you think of being the sewer grate from I.T?) while also seamlessly making everyone feel at home.

Cancer June 21 – July 22 – Chili Cook-Off

Cancers are domestic as hell – they love nothing more than hosting their friends in their home. They are also likely to be incredible cooks, so hosting a chili cook-off is right up their alley. Watch out for them to win, because they already have a ~*Fall Foods*~ Pinterest Board and they’ve been planning to rock your world with this pumpkin beef chili.

Leo July 23 – August 22 – Hiking

Leos are known to love being the center of attention, but they also have a very private side, and love being alone. That’s why a solo hike is perfect for them – they can take some much needed time to themselves, all the while taking in nature at her prettiest.

Virgo August 23 – September 22 – Leaf Peeping

Virgos are a gentle, introspective bunch who see the beauty in everything. They are perfectly suited for a drive along the country to see the leaves change color, paired with a meticulously curated fall playlist. Bonus points for capturing the perfect Instagram shot.

Libra September 23 – October 22 – Corn Maze

Smarty-pants Libras love anything that will challenge their mind, so getting lost in a corn maze is definitely up their alley. They are natural leaders and are excellent under pressure, so they are bound to solve the maze in no time flat, giving them plenty of time to boast (one of their favorite hobbies).

Scorpio October 23 – November 21 – Scary Movie Marathon

Pair Scorpios’ great taste in art (including movies!) with their penchant for the mysterious and intense, and you’ve got the perfect person to host a scary movie marathon. Expect them to recommend some foreign film you’ve never heard of (maybe Let The Right One In) that will chill you to the bone.

Sagittarius November 22 – December 21 – Apple Orchards

Sagittarians love adventure and crave variety, which is why a day at the apple orchard is perfect for them. They can make a day of it and go on a hayride, pick apples, and check out the farm stand for apple cider. Bonus points if they get the whole thing on their Snapchat story.

Capricorn December 22 – January 19 – Brewery Tour

Hardworking Capricorn deserves to relax, and learning about various IPAs at their local breweries is the perfect way for them to wind down. They love to have opinions on anything (and everything), so they will have fun debating which brewery has the best pumpkin ale.

Aquarius January 20 – February 18 – Haunted House

Aquarians have an appetite for the creepy and the bizarre, and don’t mind being scared a little bit in the process. They are the ones to find the most “out there” haunted house in town (think bloody clown chases, etc), and since their sign rules friendship, they are definitely going to take their friends along for the ride.

Pisces February 19 – March 20 – Pumpkin Carving

Pisces is the most artistic sign in the zodiac, and they have a subtle perfectionist streak, which makes them perfectly suited for an evening of pumpkin carving. Don’t be surprised if they whip out an insanely elaborate design, sans stencil.

Haha this is exactly right! I am a Sagittarian and I do love adventure (I mean check out my blog…). I also live in the PNW, the home of amazing apples, so visiting an apple orchard is on my fall list activity.

Football tailgate for the Aries? Sounds great but unfortunately, we don’t have that where I live, haha!
