As an adult, we often forget to make learning a priority. When I left school, it felt like that part of my life was over and I was at a loss for how to continue my education going forward. In the past, you had to carve out an extended amount of time and a significant amount of money into learning a new skill. With technology changing and the need to be nimble and resourceful greater now than ever, I’ve become completely obsessed with Skillshare. If you follow W&D on IG stories, you know how often I spend my lunch break taking a class! From brushing up my design and patterning making skills to defining our business plans, Skillshare has been an invaluable resource for me as I push W&D into new territories (ahem, product and pattern design). I thought it would be helpful to put together a list of my favorite classes and extend an offer for readers.
To make it easy for everyone to dive right in,
Skillshare is offering a special 3-month trial offer for only $0.99 for the entire month of January. Woohoo! Here, you can take either of my Skillshare classes which are great for building your personal brand or business and constructing a meaningful following on social media.

Thank you for sharing – these classes sound awesome! I’ve taken a few classes on Skillshare over the years, and they’ve all been excellent. Continuing to learn, and knowing how to learn new skills is so important from improving – especially when you’re self employed.

Thanks for the feature!! (Heart eyes popping out of my head as I type this). I was a student on Skillshare long before I was a teacher and it’s been my favorite weapon in the industry. So much information and so many cool creatives to meet.
