When it comes to navigating parenthood, you learn to take any help you can get. I can’t tell you how often I’d pile products and gadgets into my Amazon or Target cart in hopes it would make life a little easier and enjoyable, only to find myself with draws and bins and baskets FULL of stuff we didn’t use.

After the recent remodel, our nanny and I took stock of what we didn’t use and found good homes for all of it. What was left was what we used and loved on a daily basis, AKA: our highly recommended tools of the trade. And I think it is important to call out that a number of these recommendations came directly from the 10 years of experience our nanny has earned. She’s the queen of cool and functional toddler gear and I’m happy to share her recommendations with you today!
