In February, I found a couple of key products that I know I’ll be using for years to come. From the PERFECT (and affordable!) bra to a favorite writing utensil to an entirely different approach to styling my hair, this is a solid set of recommendations rigorously tested by me for at least thirty days.

I documented my initial “unboxing” experience with this completely different approach to styling your hair. For the price tag, it’s a big investment and I expected results that would give me salon-quality blowouts in the comfort of my home. After a month of use, I can honestly say it has lived up to the hype.
HOWEVER, this system is only for those open to learning a new way to style your hair. You have to be willing to give it a few tries; if you don’t, you’ll just be disappointed. The only “traditional” styling tools I have used since getting this system are a curling iron and straightener for “touch-ups” on the days I don’t use it.
P.S. This might be TMI, but I shower more now that I have a hair tool that is quick and easy to use.

I’ve been trying out this new product for a couple of weeks now and love that you get full coverage while moisturizing and nourishing your skin. The texture is very runny, which can take some getting used to, but the effect it’s had on my skin has been amazing.

I have this in white and green and it’s the top I find myself grabbing at least once a week. The fabric gets better with age, is soft and breathable, and the pleats give it a great shape when tucked in. I want it in every color and imagine it being a style you can wear for decades.
This product is currently on waitlist, but don’t let that deter you! It’s worth the wait. If you’re looking for another of my favorite tops from the same brand, I’d suggest this one.
And if you want to learn more about Mille, an incredible shop that’s local to the Twin Cities, you can read about the shop and its amazing owner in this post.
This is the only pen I ever want to write with. I buy them quarterly from Amazon but you can swing into a store and find them there as well!
This is the most comfortable and flattering bra I’ve found. And the price point is amazing. I’ve told all my girlfriends about it and the ones that bought it agree!
If you’re busty, this is a particularly great bra. It’s comfortable enough that you forget you’re wearing it. I have it in three colors and will be devastated if it ever goes out of stock.

I’ve been waiting for your Ilia review before I purchase- so glad it was a win!!
It was! Definitely a great product. I hope you love it, too!
Would love to know how you like the ilia skin tint vs their serum foundation . I always love to hear your thoughts on things I’m interested in!
Thanks for your comment, Mariah! I find myself reaching for the skin tint because my skin looks brighter and fine lines are less noticeable! The foundation has more coverage so I would probably use that if I had a breakout or redness. I hope this helps!
Very helpful. I appreciate your response!
Those muji pens are my absolute favourite! Did you know you can just buy the ink and refill them ? It’s the best!
Thanks for your comment, Kaitlyn! I didn’t know that, no! Such a good tip. Thank you for sharing!
