We have just a couple of gift guides left to share this season, and today we’re bringing you one of our favorites: gifts for the decor enthusiast.
Below we’ve rounded up thirteen versatile decor gifts in an array of prices, colors, and styles sure to please any decor lover in your life. These are a few gift ideas that will make everyday moments at home a little more special for the people you love.
Stay tuned for our final two holiday gift guides this month, including a roundup of all of my personal favorite items from 2020. And if you want to learn more about my approach to gifting this season, have a look at this post on the topic.
Give the gift of cozy (personalized!) home decor with this custom throw pillow. The Inside offers more than 100 fabric patterns to choose from to fit absolutely anyone’s style. (Psst! They’re offering 20% off their site right now.)
Who doesn’t have use for a basket in their home? This oval floor basket from Goodee is available in two beautiful colors and is a catch-all for blankets, toys, magazines…you name it. You can’t go wrong with a gift like this.
Schoolhouse is a brand I turn to often when in search of well-made, classic home goods. This solid brass hook is incredibly versatile. Your giftee can use it as a mask (or coat…or scarf) holder in the entryway, or a towel or bathrobe holder in the bathroom.
The Foundry Home Goods is a forever favorite shop of mine in the Twin Cities, and they have beautiful products galore for all the decor lovers in your life (or for yourself!). This handblown cylinder vessel can function as a vase, candle holder, kitchen utensil holder, and more—if you can dream it, it can do it.
I was turned onto Modern Sprout recently and am very enamored with their plant growframes. For all the plant lovers out there who may not get a ton of natural light in their homes, this would make a truly thoughtful gift.
If you’ve gotta protect the many hard surfaces in your homes from those pesky little glass rings, you might as well do it in style. I love the unique look of these colorful fringed coasters from Jungalow.
Our Place is a cult favorite for a reason: their Always Pan and tableware hold up to everyday use and are really beautiful to boot. Give the gift of a lovely tabletop set (currently on sale!) this holiday season—it’s something that will last for years and something your giftee may not treat themselves to but will be sure to love.
It’s no secret that I love a good candle. Make it a tapered candle, and I positively swoon. These candle sets from HAY are beautiful and will make any table or corner of your giftee’s home sing.
We’ve stopped using paper products in our kitchen entirely, instead turning to reusable towels while cooking or wiping up spills, and reusable napkins while eating meals. I love these striped, scalloped napkins I found on Etsy.
I worked with Modsy to figure out the truly tricky living room layout in our previous home, and their platform helped me decide my favorite design with ease. A Modsy gift card would make an amazing gift for someone who recently moved or who’s looking to infuse new life into their existing space (and given how much time we’re spending at home lately, aren’t we all?).
Your giftee is going to need some matches for the candle(s) they’re inevitably getting this holiday season (whether from you or someone else). Gift them this beautiful match striker that gets bonus points for being both functional and pretty enough to use as decor.
Give the gift of art this holiday season, as designed by yours truly. The print shown above, Dancer on Sienna, is one of my favorites and it comes in a truly versatile color that’s bold yet muted enough to complement any decor style.
End tables are one of the workhorses of the modern home. Your giftee can set this pink end table by the sofa, bed, or even bathtub to hold their books, beverages, and snacks while going about their daily life.
