In 2019, we started investing in everyday household products to help us reduce our plastic usage. Over the last two years, I’d say we’ve done a pretty good job at keeping this commitment. However, we did what we needed to do during the remodel to get by and the plastic-free goal fell to the wayside.
Now that I have a working kitchen (side note, I can’t tell you how long I’ve wanted to say these words!!), the time has come to move back into the space, and I am recommitting to reducing our single-use plastic usage. We’ve been working with Grove Collaborative over the past few years, and I’m a big fan of not only their products but also their commitment to the environment. Did you know that every day, U.S. companies create more than 76 million pounds of plastic and only 9% of plastic gets recycled? Grove believes the solution is to stop making plastic. Today, Grove is 100% plastic neutral, removing an ounce of plastic pollution from nature for every ounce of plastic they sell. By 2025, everything on their site will be 100% plastic-free. Grove believes it’s time to move Beyond Plastic.
I’ve often found the easiest way to commit to a new routine is to make it as simple as possible. Grove has made it so easy to commit to living sustainably without compromising the quality of its products.
Grove offers a complete line of home and personal products that keep the environment in mind. They have everything you need to keep your home healthy.
Grove offers a subscription model where you can have your favorite soaps and cleaning products delivered right to your doorstep each month. Having the carbon offset subscription delivery is ideal; I don’t have to remember to remember. Grove often includes gifts with purchases, and one piece of advice I have would be to double-check your cart before checking out.
Here’s what I got this month:
Grove is continuing to invent and develop new cleaning and personal care items for your home. Hands down, my favorite scent and product is the everyday hand soap in bergamot.
If you are thinking about committing or recommitting to becoming plastic-free, I highly recommend Grove Co. products.
Are you plastic-free yet? What changes are you making to eliminate single-use plastics?

Thank you for being here. For being open to enjoying life’s simple pleasures and looking inward to understand yourself, your neighbors, and your fellow humans! I’m looking forward to chatting with you.
I love Grove! I’ve been a customer for years and they’ve really helped me transition my kitchen and bath items to more sustainable options. My favorite products are the laundry concentrate & glass bottle and the dish scrubber brush. Now I’m tempted to try the bergamot soap!
I have long admired their products and how clever the design is, but unfortunately they don’t ship to Canada yet. I keep checking them out just in case they make this happen eventually. By the way, that view out of your window would make me a happy dish-washer for sure. So beautiful with the marble and the faucet.
Drop the nail color!
