Ever since I first watched Sleeping Beauty as a little kid, I’ve wanted to live in a thatched-roof cottage. The wonky walls and unique qualities of a cottage like that would be a dream to me.

Because of this, you could say I was somewhat primed to fall in love with the recent tour of Sienna Miller’s cottage in Architectural Digest. To see this particular kind of home come together in a way that’s so livable and stylish is really special. I wouldn’t change a thing about the design. I love the pink couch in the family room, the farmhouse table in the kitchen, and all the rustic details and pops of color throughout. 

Taking a virtual tour through Sienna’s home made me curious about how the rest of us could bring a similar design sensibility to our own spaces. That’s how today’s blog post came about.
