  Crash Landing on You

  The best way I could describe this show for Westerners would be that it’s a cross between Overboard and Sliding Doors. I was absolutely charmed by the entire cast, the slow-building romance between the two characters, and the fact that it was completely over the top yet never without true substance at the same time. 100 stars!

  A World of Calm on HBO Max

  I clicked on this series after a rough week. I had assumed it would be something that it wasn’t—stock video footage with voiceovers similar to the experience on the Calm app. But it is so much more than that! Each episode is around thirty mins and focuses on one ecosystem or species, shot in a beautiful, dream-like way. It is visually immersive, captivating, inspiring, and, more than anything, leaves me filled up and restored after watching—something a screen rarely provides.

  Curb Your Enthusiasm

  The last time I watched Curb Your Enthusiasm was a decade ago, and I’ve recently returned to this beloved show. I’ve always had a soft spot for Larry David, but in this era, I’ve never needed his humor more. I find the show so much more humorous, relevant, and refreshing than I used to.
