Admittedly, I was influenced by another influencer with this one! While I am really diligent about moisturizing my face, my body often gets overlooked. Rubbing lotion into the parts of my body that aren’t “what they used to be” isn’t my favorite thing to do, although I’ve read that treating these spots with loving care is a great way to find acceptance and love for your ever-changing body. I thought this moisture stone would be a good ritual for just that, as the act of melting the moisture into your body with a smooth “stone” was a new way of taking note and care of the places I tend to avoid (my stomach, mostly!).
This brush has been on my “want” list for almost a decade. Since I’m washing my hair less these days and working out a little more, I’ve found it to be super beneficial in distributing dry shampoo throughout my hair and, ultimately, helping me get the most out of the product. It also helps distribute any oil from my scalp down to the parts of my hair that need the moisture. This is, admittedly, an investment purchase, and I did ask my hairdresser if it was worth it before buying. Her response? “ABSOLUTELY.”
I started using this nourishing oil as a part of my skin-care routine this summer. It’s lightweight yet still incredibly moisturizing—perfect for my skin this time of year especially.
