We’ve lived in this house for two full years now. During these last two years, major milestones have taken place: Winnie joined the family, our home undertook a major renovation, a once-in-a-lifetime trip, we had a baby (!!!). Milestones that we want to remember and relive (maybe not the renovation, come to think of it) in a more meaningful way than just scrolling through a phone. We had the images, but not the time or the permanent wall space to display these captured moments in time. Once the renovation was complete, I was finally ready to commit to putting up artwork, as I had found permanent pieces that I really liked.
What I absolutely loved about Artifact Uprising, in particular the float frames, was that I didn’t have to do any prep work for the final piece. I sent over image files and they did did the rest. No time spent measuring, no worrying about the inevitable dust on the glass or very, very carefully placing an image to the almost impossible 90º in the frames. After sending in our files, the order arrived 5 business days later ready to be hung (they also include instructions for those of us that need a little refresher). With sizes ranging from 12 x 14″ ($65) to 30″ x 42″ ($235), these frames a great option for both your iPhone snaps and high-res files.
Of all the gifts to give this holiday season, you really can’t go wrong with a beautifully framed photo. In our opinion, there’s no better looking frame out there!
A little more technical information for those of you that are interested: each piece is made with frame-grade acrylic and held together with brass bolts. Photos are inkjet-printed with 100% archival inks on FSC-certified, archival paper.

They are so perfect! Cannot wait to receive some for our home 🙂
pretty soon you’ll have so many photos of that little babe you’ll want to frame EVERYTHING. 😉
I worried that these frames would look out of place in my old home, but you made them look so great I might have to try them!
That’s great Amanda! They really do accentuate the photography and don’t interfere with the decor too much.
