Every couple months, Joe and I attempt to clear out our home. Spring is the ultimate purge season, and as most people say, “Out with the old, and in with the new,” we’ve found ourselves swapping sofas for babysitting time or simply removing items and waiting until we find the right replacement. This process is painful, as I will forever choose instant gratification before patience. Alas, a busy schedule will keep any impulse buyer preoccupied, so I guess that is the silver lining in these long work days!
We’ve decided not to tackle many big remodeling projects at the house this year, but we are in the process of changing our office into a guest room and continually trying to find ways to make the small closets in our old home work for all of our stuff. The backyard is also an area of focus, and when you have a small-ish house, outdoor spaces become just as useful as your indoor ones. Joe has also appointed himself Grill Master and everyone benefits from his creativity behind the grill. So when eBay reached out to see if we’d take a stab at shopping their site while preparing for our spring projects, I said yes, because I can use all the help I can get. They’ve put together a page that actually simplifies the whole spring cleaning phenomenon; it’s called Your Spring Headquarters. Sign me up.
Since Joe has been so patient with my constant redecorating, I decided to focus this collaboration on the backyard. Collections like Backyard Essentials and Outdoor Decor made it super easy to navigate the site, and both collections cut my time designing a refreshed outdoor patio in half. So as it turns out, in my attempt to tackle spring cleaning, I came out redesigning my outdoor patio. Why am I not surprised? Thankfully my second half won’t be disappointed with this one.
I was excited to receive my eBay gift card; what a great gift to friends or family for spring cleaning, decorating or any occasion. eBay has a huge selection of items and the redemption was a breeze! Check out a few of my spring picks I purchased with my eBay gift card.
