BROUGHT TO YOU BY BELGARD
**GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED**
A number of my best memories from growing up were spent huddled around a bonfire with my closest family and friends. There’s something so magical about the energy that emulates while sitting around a fire. Even today, I cherish hours spent reminiscing over old stories, sipping on cocktails and cozying up around a fire with close ones. Psst! We’re partnering with Belgard to offer a giveaway of one Belgard Fire Pit Kit to one lucky winner. Scroll further for details on how to enter.
As you may have seen on the blog, last month I had the opportunity to visit the HGTV® Dream Home 2019 in Whitefish, Montana, an experience that brought me back to my childhood. Conceived by Timber Forge Design, Malmquist Construction and Brian Patrick Flynn of Flynnside Out Productions, the HGTV® Dream Home 2019 is a true work of art made using the finest materials and reclaimed historical resources. Situated on the edge of Glacier National Park, the fully furnished approximately 3,650 square-foot home offers breathtaking views overlooking Whitefish Lake and the Rocky Mountains, making for a true mountain escape from reality.
As we toured the property, we “oohed and ahhed” over the three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath retreat, admiring notable features like the large mudroom, cozy pet nook, bunk room and “lodge” for entertaining.
Unexpected to me at the time, I was blown away by the number of thoughtful details and custom touches embedded around every corner. A Scandinavian hot tub, high-tech grilling station and floor-to-ceiling accordion windows that open to an expansive outdoor living area to name a few. Then there was my favorite feature, the Belgard fireplace situated on the lower patio. As a native to the north, I’m always inspired by creative ways that make spending time outdoors more inviting and enjoyable. The fireplace’s beautiful stone texture is easy on the eyes, sure to be one of everyone’s favorite gathering places. I couldn’t help but imagine my young self sitting around it with my best friends from growing up.
Now, when I’m designing a home or space, I try to make room for special features like a fireplace, that I’m certain will lead to many memories in the making. And after learning a little more about Belgard and their products, I’ve realized it’s not all that difficult, either. Renowned for their simple installation (in just one day), one can add a charming focal point to their outdoor living space in a few short steps. Click here to learn how.
If you’re in the market for your own Belgard fire pit, this might just be your chance. Belgard is offering a giveaway of a Belgard Fire Pit Kit to one lucky winner. For more details on how to enter visit our Instagram page @witanddelight_. Good luck!

[…] Making Space for Meaningful Memories […]
I love the photo of the fireplace that’s made with bricks. I like beautiful stone textured fireplaces unlike the modern designed ones. Is it a great idea to have a fireplace on my patio? I have my retaining walls constructed at the moment from these guys click here and I’m thinking about adding fire pit while my contractors are on it.
Can you recommend where would be the best place to install a belgard firepit? I have my patio, do you think I should just have it installed beside my retaining wall systems?
“This is such an interesting giveaway! If only I got the chance to participate, I would love a new fire pit! BTW, I love the pictures you posted, just can’t resist I gotta comment about that interior painting, I think the color’s perfect!
