5 Easy, Flowy Outfits for Hot Summer Days | Wit & Delight

This is the first year I’ve really gotten into dressing for summer. It is not my favorite season and I can count the number of times on one hand that I’ve truly been on (and have dressed for) a beach vacation. Yet somehow this lifelong northerner found her sartorial summer groove this year with some light and airy pieces! Dress for the weather, as they say…

Looking for more of my outfits? Take a peek at last month’s outfits post, featuring five favorite outfits that made getting dressed particularly fun.

01

Matching Set (shown above)

I feel so fancy in this matching set! It is so comfortable and tailored—the best of both worlds. The hat is one I bought on sale at Target previously but never wore until this year.

Summer Statement Piece

I picked up this transitional, tablecloth-esque statement piece this month and felt a bit at a loss on how to wear it buttoned up like a dress. But opened up, it wears like a coat! Either way, this outfit works IMO.

Maxi Dress for the Win

A maxi dress is the easiest, especially when paired with a hat like this one from Lorna Murray! I borrowed this basket from my daughter for a finishing touch.

Also … hi, Pearl.

Easy, breezy … billowy? I love how relaxed and flowy this dress is and that it has really delicate straps. It’s perfect for summer!

12-year-old Me Meets 37-year-old Me

5 Easy, Flowy Outfits for Hot Summer Days | Wit & Delight

This is my favorite dress right now! It is a nap dress with eyelet trim and straps. The color of this bag along with my beaded jewelry is like 12-year old me meets 37-year-old me.
