The day the dogs took over Studio 125 was one to remember. We had planned a photo shoot to capture images of our Wit & Delight for Target Pet Collection and as we were planning out the shoot, we thought, how fun it would be to take images of dogs actually using and wearing the pet products, instead of the items just laying flat on paper?

So I called on some friends and colleagues to bring in their dogs for a quick photo shoot – we thought the day would fly by with ease – I imagined dogs napping by the windows while waiting for their turn to be photographed, while others quietly played with toys in the studio corners. Well, that’s not exactly how it went. We had spilled treats, multiple “accidents” throughout the space and within an hour in, we had maybe one usable image at our disposal. Turns out, dogs aren’t always the most professional models. Yet, it still turned out to be one of the most fun days we’ve had at the studio to date. Once we realized this shoot was going to be a little different than our normal photo shoots, we rolled with it, relaxed a bit, even improvised, and throughout the day, our dog friends gave us some awesome images.
