Here’s the easiest way to connect with any child. Ask them their favorite color. When friends and family ask for what they should purchase for the kids, I tell them to let color be their guide. These days, I know that if I buy anything yellow, August will freak out. Blue? Birdie will love it.
With a little help from our friends at Primary, we are sharing our ultimate gift-giving guide for kids, regardless of gender.
Not familiar with Primary? They’re a gender-neutral kids’ clothing brand where every color is for every kid (they have an entire rainbow of colors—what you see here is just a glimpse!). Primary has high-quality basics and slogan-free designs (!!!!). Rather than shop “boy” and “girl,” you can shop for babies and kids.
And to further refine our selections, we’ve enlisted what I consider the decisive rules needed when purchasing for kids: Something to wear, something to read, something you want, and something you need.

This is a really creative way to write this sponsored post. Nice work. I love primary!
Oh that’s great to hear. Glad you’re a fan of Primary too!

I thought it was too. Thanks for your comment, Sonia!
So cute! We love Primary. (Though for anyone new to the brand, I find it runs quite small, so order accordingly or email them—they have great and responsive customer service.) If you have discovered the “Cozy tunic sweatshirt,” it’s so soft and perfect that I emailed them and asked them to please release it in adult sizes!
This is a great tip! Thanks for taking the time to comment, Kate!
