Cooler weather is finally upon us! In this month’s things I tried and loved, you’ll find some really cute (and affordable) pajamas for lounging, feel-good television, the best concealer I’ve ever tried, and a highly anticipated book that I couldn’t put down. I hope you enjoy!

Bennett and I had been watching The Great British Bake Off together and she was instantly a massive fan of Nadiya! After she won (which Bennett predicted!), we started watching this show, which we both love.
Nadiya also has a book called My Monster and Me that we love too. It’s really helpful for any kids who may be experiencing anxiety.
This is the best concealer I’ve ever used. The dark circles under my eyes are completely “gone.” It’s wild.
I finished Rita’s Create Academy course last month and learned so many new tips and tricks for my own home projects. When I visited the fabric store recently I felt more confident in my choices and found myself looking for patterns that worked well together vs. what appealed to me outside of the context of the room in which they’d be installed. It’s a really good course for the budding interior designer in all of us!

This set is SO CUTE and comes in a ton of colors—the stripe combination I went with is bright and cheerful. I saw these on Grace Atwood and had to buy a pair for myself. I wear them as pajamas, but they could easily be worn as a casual outfit. I sized up to an XL because I wanted these to feel similar to when I borrow Joe’s boxers and button downs.
I can’t get enough of Sally Rooney and was waiting patiently for this book to come out! Her writing reads like you’re talking with an old friend you haven’t caught up with in a long time. I love her prose and conversation style.
I’ve been looking for the perfect dish rack for over a year now. This one popped up on my search and it’s everything I wanted. The handles make it easy to move around, the design is attractive enough to let it hang out on the countertop, and it’s well made.
We added a few really great Crate & Barrel pieces to our family room and September was the first full month we truly got to experience them in the space. This storage cabinet is amazing. It’s been a game changer in terms of the clutter that tends to accumulate from the kids’ toys. And because they have easy access to their favorite toys, they’re playing with them much more (and watching TV less than before).

Thank you for being here. For being open to enjoying life’s simple pleasures and looking inward to understand yourself, your neighbors, and your fellow humans! I’m looking forward to chatting with you.
I love all of these!!! I’m wondering where you shop for interior fabric in the Twin Cities. I have so many dreams for our home & cannot find any great places.
Thanks & keep inspiring please – S
Hello! I shop at SR Harris! It’s an outlet so you do have to dig a bit and you’ll need to measure and cut your own fabric, but if you’re willing to do that you can find some wonderful stuff. It’s also helpful to have a sense of what you’re looking for before you go (scale of a pattern, type of fabric, color, etc.) so your eyes can more easily spot what you want!
