Last year was the year I refused to NOT get into the pool. It was glorious and reminded me of summers before I worried about my post-baby body. This summer will bring more of the same but with some updated looks.
With the weather warming up here in Minnesota, I recently started seeking out a couple of new one-piece swimsuits to add to my rotation. I was looking for swimsuits that looked great on their own and could also blend in with clothes I tend to wear at the pool. The one-piece swimsuits I wore last year still work great, so I’ll rotate those in and out as well. We spend a LOT of time at the nearby pool as a family, so it’s nice to have multiple options.
I’m sharing this roundup well in advance of summer since some styles tend to sell out rather quickly, and because some folks are embarking on warm-weather vacations in the not-so-distant future. I hope you enjoy browsing through the list!
This swimsuit is amazing. I love the quality of the construction and the short-sleeve silhouette. The cut makes me feel both covered and supported while still flattering my figure. The blue is currently low in stock, but there are a few more colors available here!
I purchased this swimsuit because the cut looked super flattering. I personally can rarely wear wrap styles because of the size of my bust. Since Summersalt’s wrap swimsuit is essentially a “mock” wrap (a full swimsuit is underneath and the additional wrap crosses over the top of it), it actually works really well for me.
P.S. We have a discount code with Summersalt! Use code WITANDDELIGHT10 to receive $10 toward your purchase.
The straps on this swimsuit are removable, so you can change up the look from one wear to the next. The style is simple yet chic, and it feels like I’m wearing a bodysuit when I have this on (in a good way).
I bought this swimsuit midway through summer last year and wore it constantly!
I have The Sidestroke swimsuit in white (pictured above) and The Ruched Sidestroke swimsuit in blue (pictured at the top—color not currently available). There is a reason this is the suit that launched this brand into what it is today!!! It holds you in all the right places and is so flattering!
This brand got me with their Instagram ads. Once I got this swimsuit in the mail I could see why it has a higher price tag. It is essentially constructed like shapewear on the inside but looks just like a minimal swimsuit when you wear it. The tie on the back of this suit means you can cinch your waist, which I appreciate.
A simple swimsuit in a bright color was on my list for this year. This one does not disappoint! I purchased the pink color. It offers nice support and the ruching is super flattering.
I wanted to find a minimalist swimsuit that is both supportive and has a higher cut along the leg. I’m really happy with the style and fit of this one.
