Here’s a rec for the beloved pup in your life! I first heard about these dog treats through @prettyonfridays and we (or, the dogs) are hooked. The treats you put inside are long-lasting and so much less messy than other dog treats out there. Both Winnie and Pearl love them.

Derry Girls on Netflix
Included with Netflix SubscriptionThis show made me laugh in ways I hadn’t in quite some time. It’s set in Northern Ireland in the 90s (a time period when I’d visited Ireland and knew families who lived there). The juxtaposition of teenage problems set during a time of such unrest is both nuanced and darkly comedic. It’s an absolute gem of a show (but consider watching with the subtitles on!).

Mare of Easttown
Included with an HBO MAX subscriptionI’m that friend telling you to WATCH THIS SHOW SO WE CAN DISCUSS. It’s a modern whodunnit with a complex protagonist and themes that stick with you long after the final episode. At its core, the show is about the many victims of generational trauma. It does touch on themes of suicide and mental illness, so please take care when viewing.

Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy
Included with an HBO MAX subscriptionThis show is soothing and entertaining all at once. Stanley Tucci is lovely and I want to put him in my pocket. While shows like this do bring on wanderlust, I think it’s only going to make the experience of international travel more euphoric when I eventually go again.
