If you haven’t experienced the wearable bliss of clothing line ace&jig, listen up. If you have, you’ll totally undertand my obsession. Cary Vaughan and Jenna Wilson, the women behind ace&jig, created their clothing line around using antique textures and colored stripes of heritage cloth. Cary and Jenna believe that fabric counts for as much as the design, and it shows. It also makes them a perfect fit for Anthropologie’s project Made in Kind. The series is celebrating collaborative designs from emergining designers, which includes exclusive pieces from brands like Imogne + Willie, Hi There from Karen Walker, and Dusen Dusen.
The Made in Kind ace&jig collection ranges from $158-$398 and includes gorgeous skirts, tops, tunics, and reversible coat. They were kind enough to send me this reversible blanket coat and it’s a piece I’ll keep for years to come. In fact, I’m wrapped up in it as I write this blog post! You can also learn more about the origins of their fabric inspiration in Anthropologie’s The Magazine.
Enjoy these limited addition pieces while you can! They’ll go quickly.
