Well, I’ve been MIA for a while. There are a lot of different projects and responsibilities that have been eating away at my spare time lately. And to be honest, the snowy weather has been making me feel sluggish. Annnnd the crappy performance by the Vikings last night have me feeling a little blue today.
On a happier note, Nick and I spent last weekend in Georgetown, Texas with some of his family members. It was such a relaxing, lovely time, we were sad to leave. We both got a healthy dose of vitamin D, Mexican food and hearty laughs. My theory pertaining to why southerners have such a pleasant disposition remains true. You just cannot expect people who must shovel their way out of 6 foot snow drifts just to get a loaf of bread to so much as smile at a stranger let alone make small talk. We just don’t have the strength during these months. It was sunny and an average of 65 degrees the entire 4 days we spent down there. It made me so giddy you’d think I spent the past 2 months in a dark cave!
Anyway. Here are some pretty bowls and plates by up in the air somewhere. Hopefully I’ll be back to posting more often this week.
